    I found two female mountain cur mix pups that have been dumped. The vet says they are around 6 months old. They are malnourished and very scared. But with a little time I could touch them. I have taken them to pet tracks vet clinic in DeWitt, Ar. He says he will give me some time before putting them down. They will be kept at the DeWitt animal shelter.

I am a beautiful brindle Mountain Cur and Lab mix....doesn't that just tell you how sweet and gentle I am? I am very laid back and relaxed and I have lovely manners. I would never dream of jumping up on people or being a 'wild girl!' I am house trained and get along wonderfully with kids, adults and other dogs. I'm just an all around sweet girl! Mountain Curs are protective guardians of their families bred from tough dogs of the pioneer days. Mountain Curs are best suited to life in the country with plenty of space to roam and a job to do. Mountain Curs are smart and trainable, but they do not make good indoor pets.
