RUSTIE What a gorgeous redhead! This is Rustie, a Redbone Hound and Brindle Mtn Cur mix born around January 2016 and weighing about 36pounds. He was abandoned on a rural highway out in the country in the cold pouring rain. Being so young, really still a baby, he probably had no instincts of what to do but stay put and wait for the family he'd once trusted to come back for him. Being wet, cold and hungry he started to roam hoping to find someone to help him. After being shooed away by heartless people and chased by other dogs he returned to the only place he knew...where he was abandoned and again he waited - cold and scared. A volunteer ... (Read More)learned of his plight and went to rescue him. After getting him nice and dry, fed a good meal and put in a warm bed, Rustie mostly slept for 2 days. His little body was so exhausted and weary he just wanted to rest. Now Rustie's foster family is trying to teach him to trust people again and learn house training. He is the very sweetest young boy you could ever ask for and loves getting his ears rubbed. Remember what they say about Redbone Hounds...they are affectionate, friendly, kind-hearted, and sensitive. They are not a high-strung, fussy or clingy breed. Redbones adapt effortlessly to a wide variety of new situations. When I am adopted, I will have been completely vetted and neutered...my foster Mom is also helping me with house training too! Sound perfect for you? Contact my foster mom Jackie at 501-617-0273.     Scooby is a beautiful, brindle mountain cur boy that has been dealt a rough start in life. He is approximately 1.5 yrs old, HW negative, altered, utd on shots and kennel trained. He is great with all other dogs, plays rough so would not be suited for a family with younger children or smaller dogs who don't like rough housing, is protective over women and fearful of most men. Given time he will trust a man (very food motivated) but he'll need someone very special to work with him. If interested in adopting, fostering or rescuing Scooby, please contact us. He's a special boy that just wants someone to love him and teach him how to love ... (Read More)everyone again. Please give Scooby a chance...you won't be sorry! Location: Jonesboro, AR (Less)

CARA What a pretty lady....a soft, gentle feminine sweet girl named Cara. Cara was taken in by a good Samaritan who fell in love with her. She took her to the vet to make sure she was healthy and found that she was heartworm positive....oh dear. This could have been a death sentence if left untreated. Thankfully, she has completed her treatment and is 100% healthy and ready for her new forever home. Cara is THE perfect family fur baby. She is possibly a Mountain Cur mix, 5 years old and very sweet and gentle. She gets along with other dogs and is a very easy going, laid back kind of girl. She is house trained and walks very well on a leash. ... (Read More)Boy, she is precious.
