Meet Cedar! Cedar is a 1 1/2 yr old therapy dog. She is in training and will have her certification shortly. Cedar was dropped at a high-kill shelter with a litter of puppies. How she got there is puzzling to us. The shelter was told she was a trained alert dog. We could not confirm this since she was not chipped and obviously was not spayed. However, her behavior in her foster home led us to believe she was. We began the process to have her retrained as a therapy dog. She is great with kids, other dogs and cats. She does very well on or off leash. Because of her naturally docked tail, she may be a lab/cur mix. She has a wonderful ... (Read More)disposition and listens very well. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm negative, microchipped and has had her monthly flea and HW protection. Her adoption fee is to be determined after her training is complete. Mountain Cur Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations, Fearful/Anxious

Mountain cur/boxer mix. He is 9 months old. He does have separation anxiety. When he is left alone and out of his crate he chews on everything in sight. When he is with other dogs or has people around him he does great. He is fully potty trained and crate trained. He is in his crate at bed time and when we leave the house. He needs a place to run, but cannot be left off of his leash outside unless he is in an enclosed area. He is extremely fast. He would be best suited with another dog who can play with him. He is very active and very loving. He loves kids, but still doesn't quite understand that he can't jump on them and play too rough with ... (Read More)them. But, he's doing really well with running. He is an incredibly smart dog. He's my baby boy but I'm moving and cannot take him with me or I will be immediately kicked out. I would like for him to be around other dogs and have a fenced in backyard to run and play. (Less)
